The count down is on!

I will be leaving for Spain at the end of this month. Along the way, I will be blogging so friends and family can "experience" my trip with me. I will be posting pictures as well. This trip would not be possible without the help from many, especially University College at IUPUI, IUPUI Office of International Affairs, and IUPUI SPEA. They have made a great contribution to my trip and am very thankful for their assistance.

Just a little background on the trip: The program is through IU Bloominton SPEA. It is taught by a number of professors, but mainly Professor Kerry Krutilla, IUB, and Dean John D. Graham, IUB. Also, two professors from Spain and a worker from the Department of Justice in Spain. The course is titled Economis Evaluation of Health, Safety, and Environmental Programs in Europe and the US. In Spain, we will be studying at the Public University of Navarra located in Pamplona, Spain. We will have class three days a week, two-three times a day. On Wednesdays, we will be traveling to different parts of Spain and southern France as a class, more details to come. We have the weekends to travel, if we wish. The program itself takes place from June 4th-June 29th.

On May 31st, I will be leaving my hometown in the US to fly to Barcelona. Upon arrival in Barcelona on June 1st, I will spend a few days there with fellow classmates until departure to Pamplona. Around June 29th, I will be traveling to London to meet a few friend. We will spend a few days in London and then make our way to Paris. From Paris, I will be traveling to Germany to stay with a friend. While with her we will travel to Berlin and Munich, as well as around local towns to her. I will arrive back in the US on July 23rd.

I look forward to sharing my experience with all and I hope you enjoy!
